Description
This class is being held on July 2nd from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm
Weave an Outlander themed tartan on a rigid heddle loom. In this 6 1/2 hour class, students will learn how to dress a loom, hemstitch, and weave a tartan. You will leave this class with a finished project that just needs to be washed and dried at home. Directions for that part will be given, of course!
You will be weaving a scarf that will measure approximately 10”x60” when finished. Use your project as a scarf or a table runner or any other way you like!
All necessary supplies and tools are included. Open to new and experienced weavers.
Taught by Becca of Spruce & Sparrow
Weaving class is held simultaneously with our Rustic Sgian Dubh Class. There will be a bit of hammering from the smithy but it shouldn’t be too much and shouldn’t be all day!
This is a long class so feel free to bring a lunch and plenty of water. We also provide snacks and water bottles!
