Summer Foraging Walk

High Summer Foraging Walk, Friday August 14th 2026, 6:00 pm location is variable but definitely in the Palmer area

Wondering what you can eat in the woods? And what it looks like?? And better yet, what you SHOULDN’T eat?? Join Master forager and teacher extraordinaire Michele Harmeling for a Summer Foraging Walk.

We’ll stroll local trails, look at the local plants and identify as many as possible.

This class is not dog friendly so please leave your canine companion home for this walk.

Please wear comfy walking shoes as we’ll be covering some ground on the hunt for food. We won’t necessarily be foraging, but rather looking and identifying plants.

If you have a favorite plant identification book feel free to bring it so you can cross reference your finds and mark where which plants you’ve positively identified.
