Essential Viking Craft Camp!

This is a new one for us and we’re SO excited!! The Essential Viking Craft Camp will be for kids 8-11 year olds. This is the afternoon session of camp, there were 4 slots added to our morning listing as well.

Things learned in Essential Viking Craft:

• Flint and steel fire craft
• Sword fighting (foam swords!!!)
• What did Vikings Eat?
• The ancient game of Tafl and 12 Man Morris with directions to teach you how to play with them
• Leather working
• Casting, both Resin and Pewter

AND SO MUCH MORE!

Each camper will come home with a camp t-shirt, their own (made by them) flint and steel, their own (made by them) foam swords and the skill to use them, the Ancient Game of Tafl with resin pieces they will cast, a Viking coin again cast by them, a Tafl AND 12 Man Morris game board. And more as we finalize our plans!

We will be outside rain or shine and knowing July it will probably rain. Have no fear we have a LARGE tent AND our smithy so campers will be mostly warm and dry. Rain gear will be something they should bring as we each day will be filled with fun in and out of the tent and smithy.

We will have 2 adults on staff, and a teenage helper. Camp is limited to 8-10 campers. We added 4 slots to the morning session.
